My Dad was killed by cadmium

My Dad was killed by cadmium

On 28th of April, Kathy Gaffney tells how her father died from leukemia, probably caused by working with toxic cadmium in silver solder in an electronics factory.

She urges others to petition Samsung to improve conditions for their workers round the world, e.g. women workers with miscarriages in Vietnam, and workers in China with leukemia caused by benzene, banned in the UK and elsewhere. In a statement for Workers Memorial Day, she urges people to remember those killed by fires and industrial diseases and points the way to what can be done.
